Alex Wolfe-Warman - Award-winning photographer

I have been a professional freelance photographer since 1992. Beginning my career in Bristol where I was based for many years, I have travelled extensively, working in the USA, India, Africa, South-East Asia and Europe. My travel photography, portraiture and reportage photography have been published in many national and international publications, including The Times and Professional Photographer magazine. My work has been exhibited in Bristol, Bath and Seattle.

I have won 14 Professional Fuji awards and have most recently been a Highly Commended finalist in Landscape Photographer of the Year 2008 (my image will be published in the book and exhibited at the National Theatre). I was a Shortlisted Finalist in Travel Photographer Of The Year in 2008 and 2009, and I won Transindus Travel Photographer of the Year 2009 (People Category)

For many years now, I have combined my freelance photography career with teaching photography in colleges and art centres. I ran a variety of city and guilds programmes and have taught photography on art and design courses. For the past two years I have also been running 5-day photography workshop holidays in Andalucia in Southern Spain. See the link to www.AndalucianPhotographyWorkshops.com below for more information.
