The aim of this workshop is to show you how to make bold and beautiful portraits. I will teach you techniques that guarantee your portraits have impact.

You will learn:

  1. Choosing an appropriate location for your portrait shoot.
  2. Using your light meter for portraiture. Exposure and exposure compensation.
  3. Natural light and available light portraits.
  4. Lenses, composition and depth of field in portraiture.
  5. Reflectors, flash and fill in flash.
  6. Using tripods and slow shutter speeds for portraiture.
  7. How to direct a portrait shoot to get the best from your subject.
  8. How to capture candid and street portraits.

Please feel free to bring along a friend or family member to use as a subject if you like.
